Brewing Clouds

An all observing eye sees the complex interactions
The role-play at breakfast, lunch and dinner a distraction
In lull, let’s loiter together
On the table, we conversate about the weather

The gutted stream of consciousness gives to instant satisfaction
Let my over-active imagination develop our attraction

And the brewing clouds will come
When they come, we will run, run, run
And the bright sun’s rays will shine

Hidden in your pockets are your perfect polished limbs, smothering the spark unable to stoke the fire within
In prose, you’re scrawled with repetition
But I can only skim the surface of your description

By day as local tourists, we soak up our surroundings
In our peaceful, silent space at night we analyze new knowing
